Why is the CLI free if the product saves real money?

Because trust is the bottleneck. You need to run a read-only scan on your own infrastructure and see the numbers before paying anything. The paid tiers start when you want automation, multi-seat collaboration, or white-labeling.

Can I switch plans later?

Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time. Annual plans are pro-rated; performance-based Enterprise is billed monthly on verified savings.

Is my cloud data safe?

The CLI runs entirely on your machine with your Azure credentials — no scan data leaves your environment unless you opt in to SafeCut Cloud. When you do, transport is TLS and at-rest storage is encrypted per-tenant.

What does "8% of verified savings" mean?

On the Enterprise performance-based option, we charge 8% of the savings that SafeCut recommendations actually produced — measured against your baseline the month before we started. If we don't move the needle, you don't pay more than the $799/mo floor.

Do you offer an MSP / agency discount?

The Partner plan is the MSP path: 20% recurring revshare, white-label reports, and per-client management. Partner features ship with v1.1; join the waitlist to lock in founding revshare terms.

What ships today vs. v1.1?

The open-source CLI (quick-scan, policy simulate, policy lint, history, doctor) ships today and is fully read-only. Cloud features — auto-apply with rollback, scheduled scans, Slack alerts, white-label PDF, multi-subscription dashboards — ship with SafeCut Cloud v1.1. Founding customers on the waitlist keep their price for the lifetime of their subscription.

Can I self-host SafeCut Cloud?

Self-hosted enterprise is on the v1.2 roadmap. For now, the CLI itself is self-hosted (it runs on your machine) — only the dashboard and scheduled scans live in SafeCut Cloud.
